1. Who we are
(“the Game”, “the app”) is published by WRT Infotech.
We are the data controller — and, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Data Fiduciary — for the personal data described below.
Contact: [support@wrtinfotech.com]
2. The short version
- You do not need an account. We never ask for your name, email or phone number to play.
- Your puzzle progress is saved on your device only. We do not have a copy.
- We show ads. Our advertising partner automatically receives certain technical information from your device to select and measure those ads.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not collect health, medical, biometric or cognitive-assessment data. Your puzzle scores are game scores, nothing more.
- You can also see a summary in the Data safety section of our Google Play listing [and the App Privacy label on the Apple App Store].
3. Information we process
We group data the same way the app stores do, so you can compare this against our store listing.
Identifiers
Your device’s resettable advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android[, or Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers on iOS]) and your IP address.
Device information
Device make and model, operating system and version, screen size, language and region settings, network connection type, and the version of the Game you are running.
Usage information
How you interact with the Game: levels started and completed, time taken, hints used, moves made, session length and frequency, and your interactions with advertisements.
Diagnostics
Crash reports, error logs and basic performance data, so we can fix problems.
Approximate location
Country and, in some cases, region — derived from your IP address. We do not collect GPS or precise location, and the Game never asks for location permission.
Information you send us
If you email our support address, we receive your email address and whatever you write to us. Nothing more.
We do not collect your name, phone number, contacts, photos, camera or microphone input, precise location, files on your device, or your list of installed apps.
4. Where it comes from
- Automatically from your device when you open and play the Game.
- From our advertising partner, in aggregate form only — for example, how many ads were shown and what revenue they generated. We do not receive information about you individually.
- Directly from you, if you contact support.
Some of this data goes from your device straight to our partner without passing through any server of ours. We disclose it here because their code runs inside our app, and we are responsible for that.
5. Why we process it, and our legal basis
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis (EEA/UK) |
|---|---|---|
| Run the Game and save your progress | Usage, device | Performance of contract |
| Fix crashes and improve performance | Diagnostics, device | Legitimate interests |
| Understand which puzzles are too hard or too easy | Usage | Legitimate interests |
| Show advertisements and measure them | Identifiers, device, approximate location, usage | Consent for personalised ads; legitimate interests for non-personalised ads |
| Detect fraud, cheating and abuse | Identifiers, device, usage | Legitimate interests |
| Reply to your support message | Your email and message | Legitimate interests |
We do not use your data to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
6. Advertising
is free and paid for by advertising. Ads are served by Google AdMob.
What this means. To choose an ad and confirm it was displayed, AdMob receives your advertising identifier, IP address, device information and information about your interaction with the ad. Google’s handling of that data is governed by their own policies, linked in section 7.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland. Before any personalised advertising, we show a consent prompt using a Google-certified Consent Management Platform. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalised — selected from general context rather than your device identifier.
If you are on iOS. We ask permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, we and our partners do not track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
Changing your mind at any time. [Open the Game, tap Settings → Privacy, and change your choice.]
Resetting your advertising ID.
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset advertising ID (or Delete advertising ID).
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, then turn off “Allow Apps to Request to Track”.
Doing this breaks the link between your device and any past advertising data.
7. Third parties whose code is in the Game
| Service | Provider | What it does | Their privacy policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Serves the advertisements | policies.google.com/technologies/ads | |
| Google Play Services | Required Android services, bundled with AdMob | policies.google.com/privacy | |
| Google Play Store | Distributes the Game and delivers updates | policies.google.com/privacy |
AdMob may work with other advertising partners. The current list Google maintains is at support.google.com/admob/answer/9012903.
8. Children
is intended for users aged [13] and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below that age. Where an app store signals that a user may be under the applicable age, we serve only non-personalised, contextual advertising and limit data collection accordingly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, email [support@wrtinfotech.com] and we will delete it.
9. Sharing
We share personal data only with:
- the providers listed in section 7, for the purposes described;
- app stores, to distribute the Game [and process purchases];
- law enforcement, courts or regulators, where we are legally required to;
- a buyer or successor, if is acquired — you will be told before your data is transferred.
We do not sell your personal data.
10. How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Puzzle progress on your device | Until you delete the Game |
| Diagnostics and crash reports | [90 days] |
| Support emails | [24 months] |
| Advertising data held by Google | Per Google’s own retention policy, linked in section 7 |
We hold no server-side profile of you. In most cases we have no way to identify you at all.
11. Security
Data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We rely on the security controls of our infrastructure and service providers, and limit internal access. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data and creates a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
12. International transfers
We are based in India. Our service providers process data in the United States, the European Economic Area and other countries. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or another lawful safeguard.
13. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, receive a portable copy, and complain to your data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email [support@wrtinfotech.com]. We respond within 30 days.
Because we do not hold accounts, we will usually need your advertising identifier to locate any records. You can find it in your device’s ad settings.
The fastest route to deletion: uninstall the Game to remove locally saved progress, and reset your advertising ID as described in section 6.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you inside the Game before it takes effect.
